The 15th International Conference on Monte Carlo Methods and
Applications (MCM) will take place at Illinois Institute of Technology
in Chicago from July 28 to August 1, 2025. The conference brings
together researchers and practitioners to share their latest findings
in Monte Carlo methods. We are delighted to have the following diverse
group of distinguished plenary speakers:

Call for 2025 R-CCS International HPC Computational Science Internship
RIKEN Center for Computational Science(R-CCS) offers an internship
program targeting graduate students (Ph.D program) affiliated with
overseas universities or institutions.
The internship program is a project fostering researchers dedicated
to HPC (High Performance Computer) technology and computational
science with the aim to orient interns to R&D in leading-edge
computational science by providing them with an opportunity to work in
R-CCS research teams for a better understanding of computational
science technology.
-Internship period:
Applicants and hosting research teams may set appropriate periods by
mutual agreement for the internship duration, up to 90 days between
April 15, 2025 and March 19, 2026.
-Location:
Kobe or Tokyo (High Performance Artificial Intelligence Systems
Research Team only)
-Qualifications:
Applicants must belong to a university whose head or representative
can issue a formal letter of request on behalf of applicants (Ph.D.
program). PhD-level students with fundamental knowledge in the field
of computational science and with a specific research focus are
desirable.
-Number to be admitted:
Term 1 (Internship starts between Tue, April 15 and Mon, June 30,
2025), up to 10 students.
Term 2 (Internship starts after Tue, July 1, 2025. *It is necessary to
finish the internship by Thurs, March 19,2026), up to 20 students.
Approximately 30 students will be accepted in total.
However, the number of participants may vary depending on the
situation.
-Expenses and allowance:
Commuting expenses, Lodging expenses, Travel expenses, and Internship
allowance will be paid.
-Application: Application documents as given below must be submitted in advance.
For Term 1 (Internship starts between Tue, April 15 and Mon, June 30,
2025), upload by Monday, December 02,noon (Japan Standard Time)
For Term 2 (Internship starts after Tue, July 1, 2025.
*It is necessary to finish the internship by Thurs, Mar 19,2026),
upload by Monday, February 10, noon (Japan Standard Time)
